In 2019, the Netflix original series ‘Orange Is The New Black’ is coming to an end.
Netflix took to social media to announce the cancellation of the show. After 7 seasons, this comes as a surprise to many fans.
Season 7 will premiere next summer and will be the final time we’ll see the inmates during our Netflix and chill sessions.
The vice president of Netflix’s original content, Cindy Holland, stated that it’s sad to see the show come to an end, but the show will end on a high note.
“During production of Season 1, everyone involved with Orange Is The New Black felt like we knew a special secret we couldn’t wait to share with the world. Since then, we have laughed, cried, raged, and roared with the women of Litchfield, and every moment spent with them felt like borrowed time — too good to last forever.”
