Talks of Cardi B. landing a role in The Nanny reboot may soon become a reality. Fran Drescher, the actress/comedian who starred in the original series as Fran Fine, wants the Bronx Emcee to play the role of her daughter in the show. If Cardi accepts the offer, it’ll be her second acting gig. In 2017 she appeared on BET’s Being Mary Jane.
