As reported on Insider, Serena spoke on trying to find life balance. She wants to give all of her time to her 4-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia. Serena said, "Mom guilt is real. I always feel so guilty when I'm doing something on my own," she said. "I don't know if I'm a good mom, and I don't know if my method works, but I'm very hands-on with my daughter, and it was the same with our parents."Earlier this week, Dr. Treva B. Then, doctors found a large hematoma, a swelling of clotted blood, in her abdomen. Then Serena returned to the operating room for a procedure that prevents clots from traveling to her lungs. She spent the first six weeks of motherhood in bed.Serena told CNN a few years back about her experience. She said, "I am so grateful I had access to such an incredible medical team of doctors and nurses at a hospital with state-of-the-art equipment. They knew exactly how to handle this complicated turn of events. If it weren't for their professional care, I wouldn't be here today."
