A little more than 12 hours after President Barack Obama put tears in many American’s faces with his farewell speech, the President-elect Donald Trump had a press conference on his own.
It was a speech in which he spoke on “the wall,” Russia, his taxes (that he won’t reveal), and relinquishing control of his own business to run the country.
One of the biggest moments came towards the end though, as Trump decided to refuse CNN reporter Jim Acosta’s questions calling the platform “fake news.”
“Your organization is terrible,” Trump said. “Don’t be rude. No, I’m not going to give you a question. You are fake news.”
Trump ended the speech with “you’re fired” which is fitting as he spoke about his sons taking over his business as he takes over the presidency.
