Do you ever wonder what celebrities cook at home?

Welp, Fabolous gave fans a sneak peek via Instagram stories. Instead of something fancy, Fab whipped up a “struggle meal.” In the photo, you see some seasons, two salmon fillets, frozen mixed vegetables, and a pack of Top Ramen chicken-flavored noodles. In the caption, the Brooklyn rapper said,

“Decided to try to cook something. My struggle meal [doesn’t] look that bad.” Take a look at a screen share captured by 2cool2blog:

Social media got a kick out of the meal. One user under the blog posts comment section said, “n*gga ain’t have no rice?” Another person said, “lmao ramen as a side is crazy,” someone else wrote, “fresh salmon is not a struggle meal and ramen might be cheap but a great side and frozen mixed veggies are good.”

One week earlier today (April 21) was the 11th anniversary of Fab’s The S.O.U.L. Tape. In 2011, Fab was gaining a lot of attention with his There is No Competition mixtape series hosted by D.J. Drama. When Fab dropped the S.O.U.L. Tapes (three in total), he gave fans a more soulful vibe than the usual hardcore street one.

The soulful classics featured hits like “Yall Don’t Hear Me Though” (ft. Red Cafe), “You Be Killin Em,” “Diced Pineapples,” “Thim Slick” and more.

His last mixtape series was his Summertime Shootout: Coldest Summer Ever. It’s Fab’s seventh studio album, released in 2019 with Street Family Records, Roc Nation, and Def Jam Recordings.

It’s not clear when Fab will drop a new project. Hopefully, fans get something this summer or fall at the latest. Last week, Fab teamed up with Jim Jones and dropped their music video for their freestyle “Coke Zero,” which flips Pusha-T’s “Diet Coke” beat. Take a look:
