Social Media is not happy with Irv Gotti.
During a recent episode of The Murder Inc Story on BET- Irv Gotti detailed his first-time kissing Ashanti, and fans felt it was inappropriate.
Irv first began to open up about he and Ashanti’s relationship during his interview on N.O.R.E’s ‘Drink Champs.’ He says, “I couldn’t get past you wanting to be with Nelly,” Irv said in the clip. “Listen, at the time, it happens… any man is hurt. The chick that you f*ckin’ are in love with is with this n***a.” He also went on to say that Ashanti’s hit record ‘Happy’ was created right after to two had sex.
Now- when the docuseries premiered, Irv went into even more details about his relationship with the Princess of R&B. He explains, “Ashanti’s coming to the studio every day and our friendship and bond is naturally growing. She used to wear these Juicy sweats and her a*s was looking fat. Her a*s was looking great,” he said with a laugh. “So one day, I was like, ‘I’ll take you home.’ She said, ‘Bet. Cool.’ Walk her to her front door of her crib. She turns to say goodbye and I just kissed her and grabbed her ass. It was like, ‘What took you so long?’”
The clip surfaced online, and fans instantly reacted. One fan wrote, “this dude just blatantly admitted to pushing himself upon his 20 year old employee. He can tell all he wants, but he’s exposing himself to be a predator. And for that he deserves every bit of outrage..” and another, “He offered her a ride home from the studio as her boss with the intention of pushing himself on her. He said from his own mouth that he walked her to the door then kissed on her and grabbed her ass. If that doesn’t sound predatory to you then we have a problem people..”
