Anything can happen at Summer Jam. You never know who's going to show up or what surprises are around the corner. From Michael Jackson performing alongside Jay-Z to Lauryn Hill coming out with Nas, there are monumental Summer Jam moments that fans will never forget.
This year’s
-
Migos, Meek Mill, DaBaby, Mongeybagg Yo, Saweetie, A Boogie, a DMX tribute from Swizz Beatz that could feature anyone, plus special guests Rowdy Rebel and Bobby Shmurda!
On the festival stage there are heavy hitting rising talent
Young Devyn, Mooski, Morray, Yung Bleu, Coi Leray, Drewski & Friends: Dreamdoll, Maliibu Miitch, & Dusty Locane, and Rosenberg Real Late ft. Conway w/ Drumwork Music Group, Roc Marci, Vel The Wonder, Flee Lord, & Stove God Cooks!
Every Summer Jam has surprises - I work at Hot 97 and have no idea what’s going to happen. The suspense of the next big Summer Jam moment keeps people in their seats waiting for.
DMX - What Will Swizz Beatz Do?
Expect the Swizz Beatz New York Tribute To DMX to feature hip-hop greatness. At the BET Awards, Swizz unleashed rap royalty in Method Man, the LOX, and Busta Rhymes in honor of the life of DMX - but who will he bring out at Summer Jam?
We know that Conway the Machine will be on the festival stage for Real Late with Rosenberg - but will he and the rest of Buffalo’s finest like Benny the Butcher and Westside Gunn pop out to perform
Hood Blues
off DMX’s posthumous album. Not to mention that DMX and Nas have five songs together… and this is a “New York Tribute” to X. We could see anyone from the Wu-Tang Clan to Fat Joe honoring Dark Man X.
Migos and Meek’s Friends
With Migos and Meek Mill both on the Summer Jam lineup, we could see any of the dozens of artists they’ve worked with pop up on the Summer Jam Stage. It’d be dope to see Lil Uzi Vert premiere the new song he’s rumored to have shot a music video for with Meek, then pop back out to assist Migos with their smash hit
Bad & Boujee.
Between - Walk It Like I Talk It, Versace (Remix), Flip the Switch, Back to Back, Going Bad, Amen, and R.I.C.O; Drake could pretty much perform two different sets with Meek and Migos. It’d be even cooler if Drake popped out on the Festival Stage to team up with Yung Bleu to perform
You’re Mines Still.
Polo G Wild Card
Polo G could call on Lil Wayne to pop out to perform
Gang Gang,
he could call on fellow Summer Jam artist Moneybagg Yo to perform
Free Promo
with Lil Durk, then while Lil Durk is on the stage - they can perform
No Return.
Fivio Foreign is finally free, maybe Polo calls on Fivio to do
Headshot
in honor of Pop Smoke.
Shmurda Show
If Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel perform on stage together and the song “Computers” starts playing - Metlife Stadium just might implode. Bobby Shmurda really has the opportunity to turn Summer Jam into Shmurda Jam if he decides to debut new music with rappers we don’t expect. Recently Shmurda has teamed up with Daddy Yankee and J Balvin to release new music, and is rumored to have new music in the works with Migos - soon we’ll see what tricks are up his sleeve.
Anything can happen at Summer Jam and you never know who's going to show up! You can either be there to witness it, or you can be mad that you missed out.
