The ongoing legal battle between 50 Cent and Teairra Mari continues.
As reported on Radar Online, Teairra claims she has no assets or a source of income. She said she hasn’t been employed since 2019 and would only work in the entertainment industry. The outlet reports the “Make Her Feel Good” singer said she wouldn’t work a “9-5.”
She also told the court she receives “minimal income” through sponsored Instagram posts during the hearing. In addition, she launched her own skincare business called “Hunniface” but received minimal income.
Teairra said she would be willing to pay the money on a payment plan. However, 50 is questioning how she’ll be able to make the payments if she doesn’t have income or assets. Fif isn’t letting up. He said he’ll continue to search for any assets owned by Tearria. He’s also seeking additional legal fees for having to drag the VH1 star back to court.
Last month, Fif hired a private investigator to track down Tearria and his money. 50’s PI served Teairra with legal papers on April 4 so that the courts could examine her income since she refused to answer questions about it. Around that time, Teairra was saying she couldn’t go to court because she lived in Georgia, but Fif’s PI discovered she lived in LA, as he served her the papers there.
The situation started years ago when Teairra sued 50 for posting an explicit photo of her online. 50 won the lawsuit, he argued he only reposted a picture already circulating, and a judge ruled in his favor. The film industry mogul was awarded $30k in attorney fees. A judge topped on an extra $20k in sanctions, bringing $50k.
