From City Girls To Stadium Girls!
Yung Miami and JT best known as the
City Girls
are coming back to shut down the Summer Jam stage.
In 2019, the Miami-born rappers were introduced to be on the festival stage however fans only got to witness one half of the group, Yung Miami, who would later join Cardi B on the main stage. Around that time, JT was serving a two-year prison sentence and was released on March 9th, 2020.
Once JT was released from prison, the group got straight to work. They were featured on songs such as
“Throat Baby Remix,” “Do It Remix,”
and
“Said Sum Remix,”
and more.
The duo would go on to release their third album
City on Lock
which features songs
“P***y Talk”
featuring Doja Cat,
“Flewed Out”
featuring Lil Baby, and
“City On Lock”
featuring Lil Durk.
Fast forward to 2022, both City Girls will be attending this year’s Summer Jam where fans will hopefully be able to hear their classics such as
“Act Up,”
“Twerk”
featuring Cardi B., and
“Top Notch"
featuring fellow Summer Jam performer, Fivio Foreign, among other songs.
Until then watch some of our videos by and featuring The City Girls. Make sure you are in attendance on Sunday, June 12th, at MetLife Stadium!
