The Game says Drake is the ONLY living rapper with more #1 hip-hop albums than him. Interesting.
We previously reported that during a recent interview The Game opened up about his longstanding beef with Fif. He’s even interested in making amends with the rapper, “I think that with me and Fif, you can’t really say…You can’t really talk about Fif and Hip Hop without somebody bringing up Game,” said the rapper. “As far as Verzuz is concerned, that is the only person I will even entertain doing a Verzuz with because it just makes the most sense and nobody else can’t really go with me.”
Now, in that same interview.. The Game also spoke about his contributions to hip-hop.”It’s only one artist alive that has more No. 1 hip-hop albums than me, and that’s Drake, bro,” The Game said. “And, we can run it. That is Googleable. You can ask your favorite hip-hop critic. You can go check SoundScanner. Do what you gotta do, bro. I got 10 No. 1 albums. I think Drake has 10 or his last effort was 11. But, I mean, that’s Drake.”
Maybe Game forgot to include Lil Wayne who has 10, and Jay -Z who has 11 number one albums. Let us know your thoughts on The Game’s comments.
