It was a great night at this years Grammy’s, and hip hop was on hand in a big way.

Kendrick Lamar started off the night in a big away with a dynamic performance with tons of political undertones. The performance set the tone for a big night as he won five awards only falling behind Bruno Mars who won six including song, record, and album of the year.

Speaking of Bruno Mars he had as all drippin’ in finesse and busting out New Jack Swing moves in our rooms as he and Cardi B brought a fun vibe in a show full of messages and ballads.

The show had multiple political undertones as Cuban immigrant Camila Cabella addressed the importance of DACA, Logic addressed race, Ke$ha gave us a powerful performance in line with the #TimesUp movement and of course artists, including Hillary Clinton reading passages of the Donald Trump bombshell book Fire and Fury.

Jay-Z and SZA both had the highest nominations of any artist, and came home empty handed with many fans believing they were snubbed.

Catch some highlights of the performances and moments below.
