Tyga and Avril Lavigne sparked dating rumors after being spotted cozying it up after having dinner at NOBU in Malibu, California Sunday (Feb. 19) night.
A few days later, TMZ reported that Lavigne and Mod Sun have broken up, almost a year since they announced their engagement. Although the former couple recently attended a pre-Grammy party together earlier this month, sources close to them tell said the two had been trying to make things work recently, going “on and off” during the last few months, but it just wasn’t right.
This news certainly added more fuel to the Tyga dating rumors. While some are here for the duo, many may describe them as an odd pairing. “Tyga and AVRIL LAVIGNE is the most random thing I’ve ever seen???” Soullig said on Twitter.
Bbryy said, “Tyga dating Avril Lavigne might be the craziest s**t I ever heard [laughing emoji].”

In a follow-up Tweet, she added, “Amber once dated James, who also dated Khloe. Kourtney had babies with Scott, who used to date Sofia, who is Kylie’s old BFF. Kendall dated Devin, who allegedly once also dated Kylie’s other old BFF Jordyn, who once kissed Tristan that has babies with Khloe. Did I miss anything?”
