Disney’s live action version of The Lion King is slated for a summer 2019 release, and as we all wait for it to hit theaters, Disney blessed us with the tracklist to the soundtrack.
Beyonce, who will voice “Nala” in the movie, will lay her vocals on four songs including the iconic Academy Award-winning, “Circle of Life,” which was originally sung by Elton John.
Can you imagine her doing the opening number?!
Childish Gambino also lends his vocals to the soundtrack as well as Chance The Rapper.
This soundtrack has the makings of becoming one of the best selling of all time. (biased opinion)
The songs follow the Broadway musical version of the film along with the familiar ones we know from the animated feature.
