It looks like the band is coming back together.

Fans have been waiting for one more run between Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett 15 years after we saw their last escapade in Miami. Finally it looks like it’s about to happen.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Sony is negotiating with brand new directors for the film.

Sony is taking another shot at making a Bad Boys sequel and is in early negotiations with directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah to helm. El Arbi and Fallah were born in Morocco and studied film in Belgium. They recently directed episodes of FX crime drama Snowfall and have their third feature Gangsta due out this year.

Back in 2014, Martin Lawrence initially confirmed rumors of a Bad Boys 3 filmed titled Bad Boys For Life was preparing a release.

Something that he wasn’t too sure about in the past year. Bad Boys For Life was originally set to be released Jan. 12, 2018, but obviously that has been pushed back.

Will Smith also spoke about the possibility saying back in 2016 that it was “very close.”

Let’s hope it happens soon!
