This could have been awkward.
Safaree and Nicki Minaj engaged in a back and forth last week in which they began airing out each others dirty laundry for everyone to see following her interview with Funk Flex.
If things weren’t already awkward between the ex-couple, it could have gotten a lot more interesting Monday night. Both Nicki Minaj and Safaree were on hand at the MTV VMA’s in New York City, where they arrived at Radio City Music Hall at the same time.
As he would describe, they were both going through the medal detectors when he made eye contact with hs ex-girlfriend, and didn’t quite receive a happy greeting.
“I look to my left,” he says. “Guess who’s walking to the metal detector next to me, I say hi. Guess who looks at me like I’m stupid.”
