Thoughts? Netflix And Nickelodeon Signs A Multi -Year Deal For Original Animated Features And Shows

Netflix and Nickelodeon are expanding! 

The two companies have come together and formed a new multi-year output deal that includes the production of original animated features and television series. These series will be based on existing Nickelodeon characters as well as new ones. 

Melissa Cobb, the Vice President of Original Animation at Netflix stated, “Nickelodeon has generated scores of characters that kids love, and we look forward to telling wholly original stories that re-imagine and expand on the worlds they inhabit.”

Nickelodeon has previously brought “Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling” and “Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus” to Netflix. They are currently working on bringing the “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” to the streaming platform.
