Tik Tok & Universal Music Group Announce New Deal That Gives More Money & Opportunities To Artists

Tik Tok is opening more doors for artists!

Reported on Hip Hop N’ More, Universal Music Group (UMG) and the hottest video-sharing app, Tik Tok, announced a new global deal. 

According to the report, the global agreement aims to “deliver equitable compensation for recording artists and songwriters. It also significantly promotes the development of new innovative experiences and the ability to forge deeper bonds between fans and the artists and music they love. TikTok users will be able to use music from UMG’s catalog as a soundtrack to their videos without any difficulties,” the article reports. 

The press release from Tik Tok says their users will feel more “empowered.”

“TikTok users will be more empowered than ever to express themselves through music, soundtrack their video creations with songs about which they are passionate and build communities around artists and music-centered culture.”

The two companies are also implementing new features that will give more creative freedom for creators and artists. They also plan on giving artists more tools to track their data.
