Travis Scott has been named as a suspect in a NYC nightclub assault case.

According to TMZ, around 3 a.m. on Wednesday night, the rapper got into an argument at Nebula nightclub, a club on 41st Street, in New York City. Reports claim Scott punched the man and damaged his phone.

Following the incident, Travis’ attorney, Mitchell Schuster, tells TMZ, “while this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”

Richie Romero, who is a managing partner of Club Nebula his is blown completely out of proportion. It was a great night.”

Travis has yet to comment on the incident- but he did make a surprise appearance at Don Toliver’s in NYC.
