R. Kelly isn’t getting out of his legal troubles easily.
The singer’s legal team requested for him to be released on bail due to medical issues, but a judge denied it. R. Kelly claims he’s suffering from an untreated hernia, a numb hand, and anxiety.
A judge also set a date for his trial, which will begin May 18, 2020. The trial is expected to go on for three weeks.
His next court hearing is Dec. 9th but he doesn’t have to be there.
