The Clemson Tigers football was invited by Donald Trump to the White House for a victory meal. Trump treated the national college team to all you can eat fast food.
Trump ordered food from Burger King, McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Dominoes according to reports. Trump blames the government shutdown (which is ironically shut down because he didn’t get the $5 billion funding for a wall that prevents immigrants from coming to America from Mexico) for ordering from the fast food chains. The White House kitchen is closed down until the shut down is over.
Trump boasted that he paid for everything himself. Serving American athletes cheap food who train and take care of their bodies all year is almost like a slap in the face. What would your reaction be?
