It looks like Donald Trump is the one who got the three UCLA Basketball Players who were caught shoplifting out of a lot of trouble.
Police in China detained freshmen Liangelo Ball, Cody Riley, and Jalen Hill in their hotel, after being suspected of shoplifting.
While the three players arrived back to the U.S. on Tuesday, Donald Trump took to Twitter with his thoughts.
“Do you think the three UCLA Basketball Players will say thank you President Trump? They were headed for 10 years in jail!”
A few hours later a press conference took place where Ball, Riley, and Hill apologized, and thanked Donald Trump, along with a host of others for helping them.
