Tyrese is back in the headlines and this time it is due to unemployment.
In new claims, the ‘Fate of the Furious’ star says “he’s been unable to find work in the entertainment field.” He feels that he is now dealing with the aftermath of his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell. In 2017, she accused him of spanking their daughter, Shayla Gibson, who was unable to sit down due to the pain. Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services opened an investigation into his ex-wife’s claims.
The investigation has since been dropped. Furthermore, the judge restored Tyrese’s joint custody of his daughter.
Daily News, reports that he is taking home $51,000 per month over the last month compared to earning $180,000 per month which is a significant pay cut from last year’s earnings.
As of right now, Tyrese claims to have only $130,000 left to his name and currently his income comes from royalties and residuals.
