We finally got some answers.
Cardi B and Nicki Minaj got fans excited when the two finally got a chance to meet up face to face to have a conversation about how they felt about one another.
We all wanted to know what the two were talking about. As a guest on the Howard Stern Show, Cardi B addressed that the two had a “misunderstanding” and discussed parts of the conversation.
“I never was feuding with anyone,” she said. “There was a misunderstanding. I think she felt some type of way about something. I definitely felt some type of way about something. I didn’t ever want to talk about it in public because I felt like we are going to see each other again, and we are going to talk about it.”
She later continued to elaborate.
“I spoke to her at the Met Gala about it. And it was like ‘see’ it was something that just had to be talked about.[There was an issue.”
So what was the underlying issue?
“The issue was something that the press didn’t know. Because I don’t like talking. I’m not going to talk about it. But i really felt a certain type of way. My feelings were hurt. That’s why I keep to myself. That’s why I don’t fuck with nobody.”
It’s a beautiful thing that the two got to talk things out. Hip hop is stronger when the women in rap are not only competitive, but collaborating with each other.
So are we going to get a track between the two?
