ICE carried out one of the largest raids in history!
This caused people online and across the world to be furious. Children in Mississippi had a horrible first day to school, while they were in class, 680 parents were being taken away by ICE agents.
According to a report, about five busloads of people who were arrested were released back to their family. It’s unclear exactly why those certain individuals were let go.
The article says “Officials had said Wednesday that they would release detainees who met certain conditions, such as pregnant women or those who hadn’t faced immigration proceedings previously.”
