D. A. Announced Other Officer Involved In Rayshard Brooks Murder Will Testify Against His Partner!

The case of Rayshard Brooks just took a huge shift! 

Fulton County D.A announced, one of the former officers who was at the scene at the time Rayshard Brooks was murdered, Devin Bronson, has agreed to become a cooperating witness for the state! This is the first time an officer has testified against one of their own in Fulton, County’s police department in Atlanta, CBS reports. 

Prosecutors are reportedly recommending a bond of $50,000 in exchange for Bronson’s cooperation. He will testify against his former partner Garret Rolfe, who shot Brooks in the back on June 12 as he was running away and watched him lay there to die and didn’t provide any medical attention. 

Rolfe has been fired, charged with murder and is facing 10 other charges. Bronson, was placed on administrative leave and faces three charges, aggravated assault for standing or stepping on Brooks’ shoulder after he was shot. 

Rolfe could face the death penalty or life in prison without parole if convicted.
