Melly is asking the judge if he can get out of prison and be placed on house arrest and treated at a medical facility at his own expense.The 20-year-old rapper, and his crew member, Bortlen, are on trial for the 2018 alleged murder of their friends “YNW Sakchaser” Williams and Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas Jr.
Melly and Bortlen are both facing two counts of first-degree murder. Melly faces the death penalty if convicted.
