Prince has written and performed timeless singles such as “When Doves Cry,” “Controversy,” “Diamonds & Pearls,” and “1999,” throughout the years. Songs that has had a lasting impact in music overall.
Lowkey, his music has also had an impact on hip hop as well. Many artists throughout the years have sampled Prince’s music to make hits themselves.
Others were heavily influenced by his persona and sound such as Miguel who’s sound can be compared to the late singer.
