We were THIS close to hearing Wu-Tang’s unreleased album.
Controversial pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli is still holding Once Upon a Time In Shaolin hostage after purchasing it for $2 million a couple of years ago.
He was supposed to have an event called An Evening With Martin Shkreli at Webster Hall January 20 where he would have played some brand new music from the exclusive project.
It has been cancelled due to threats and protests.
According to Pitchfork:
While a representative for Webster Hall previously confirmed to Pitchfork that the event would take place, the event has now been canceled. “Officially, it is not happening,” a representative from the venue said. They offered no further comment.
Will we ever get a chance to hear the project?
