Did you know this Cam’Ron and Suge Knight had a confrontation over money?

In a recent interview, the Dipset rapper recounted the time when Suge Knight approached him for using Tupac’s “Ambitionz Az A Ridah” instrumental for his song “Live My Life”. The song was featured on his Come Home With Me album.

According to Cam’Ron, the incident took place in Los Angeles after a night of partying, and he recalled how the conversation began, “I’m like, ‘What’s up, bruh. How you doing? [Suge’s] like, ‘I’m good but you owe me some money. Nah, you owe me some mone. You used that Tupac beat on your album. That’s my beat.’”

Cam’Ron continued the interview stating that he was trying to explain that the producer Daz Dillinger gave him permission to use the beat but Knight was insisting that he was still owed money. He also told Cam that Dillinger didn’t have the right to give permission to use the beat and that he “f***s N****s up who don’t give me my money”.

Ultimately, the situation was dropped and the two resolved it by walking away. Do you think that Cam’Ron should’ve paid Suge Knight that money over the beat?
