The legendary chick fighting flick is back!
The original film came out in 1976. It starred Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Jaclyn Smith as the angels who work for their unseen boss, Charlie.
The 2000 remake cast included Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz as the angels and it was a huge success. It made $13.7 million on opening day, making a box office debut. Destiny’s Child “Independent Women” became the anthem of the movie.
Director and mastermind behind it all is Elizabeth Banks. She’s also the new Bosley. A source reports that there will be more than one Bosley in the film.
The angels are former Twilight star Kristen Stewart, Aladdin star Naomi Scott, and British actress Ella Balinska, who is the Black angel. This is groundbreaking or the film since she’ll be the first.
