Young M.A came through to Ebro in the Morning today for a very good interview about her music, her personal life, and more.
A day after tragically laying her aunt to rest, the Brooklyn rapper discussed the pressures of an artists after a successful smash single such as “Ooouuu.”
“There’s definitely pressure,” he said. “I am a human being so that’s what it is. At the same time you have to put yourself back in that zone that you were in before. In a creative zone instead of thinking ok maybe I need to do this. When in all reality you just need to still create.”
Although she’s comfortable being herself and her sexuality, don’t expect her to be an advocate anytime soon. She’s not trying to paint herself into a box, rather than be the inspiration on simply being herself, and being the best MC. Speaking of MC’s, Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez wanted to know who she has heard something from.
She’s heard from Remy Ma, Cardi B, and Nicki Minaj who has “probably liked a picture on an IG or a video of me performing.”
In a rare moment she also opened up on her dating life after it has been revealed that she is dating model/DJ Tori Brixx. She also revealed the offer she was made to be a regular character on Fox’s hit show Empire.
