Young M.A stepped up to Ebro in the Morning to have a great conversation on where New York rap stands, and why lately it feels as if they continuously fall into a trap of hit singles, but not long-lasting careers.
She also addresses a report that she does not identify as a lesbian, clearing up the fact that she doesn’t believe in gender labels, or labels overall, that she would rather be judged as a person.
The Brooklyn rapper also discussed her thoughts on 6ix9ine ‘s testimony as well as the importance of the Kweenz Foundation which helps those in her hometown of East New York overcome the trauma of losing a loved one.
Her debut album, Herstory in the Making will be released September 27.
