Bobby Shmurda is having a rough week.
One day after it was learned that he had pled guilty for trying to sneak a shank into prison, it is being reported that Shmurda was attacked in prison causing him to move locations.
According to Bossip:
The conclusion of the case comes as the Department of Corrections moved Shmurda eight hours away from Downstate Prison in Brooklyn to Clinton Correctional Facility near Canada after another inmate tried to stab him during a mealtime a month ago, Allen DeWane, the family’s spokesman, told BOSSIP. The rapper felt someone approaching him from behind, and was able to narrowly miss the attack.
“These are lowlives,” DeWane told BOSSIP. “They think they can score brownie points if they get a star.
They claim that he now is a target due to his celebrity and will now remain in protective custody for the rest of his tenure.
According to HipHopDX, he will be serving his brand new sentence at the same as the current sentence as they will run at the same time.
He was facing seven years for perjury before taking the deal.
