J.I.D is officially back with new music, over a year after releasing his debut studio album, The Never Story, in March last year. The new track, “151 Rum,” features the Atlanta rapper spitting in a quick-paced, highly technical rap pattern that is sure to impress existing fans and help him gain new ones.
“151 Rum” is likely to appear on his DiCaprio 2 project—a follow-up to his 2015 project DiCaprio. The new song is produced by frequen collaborator, Sto Boi, the same producer “who made Never and 87{c455e3952acbf7fa430b36d499b5e00763ea4c1c1cfccd5c4f87653628a898dc} of J.I.D’s catalogue.”
The Dreamville signee hasn’t released many details about his upcoming project so far. However, he is most likely going to take his usual “let the music speak for itself” route as he usually does. Listen to the new track below!
