T Raw wanted to pay homage to the goat Lil Wayne in his latest video “Lightskin Lil Wayne.” The track is off his recent album Legendary, with features from Swae Lee, Bazzi, Offset, J. Balvin, Blueface, Chris Brown, Gunna, A Boogie, and of course Weezy F. Baby!
Lil Wayne is Tyga’s mentor and gave him his start in music when he was signed with Young Money, so it makes sense why Tyga would want to do an “ode to Weezy.”
In the video, Tyga reenacted some of Lil Wayne’s most iconic scenes from videos in the past which include “Lollipop,” “A Milli,” and “Fireman.”
Weezy was honored and reposed the video to his IG. In the caption he said he’s “at a loss for words.” He’s humbled by his brother Tyga doing this. Tyga told Weezy that he “changed his life.”
