H.E.R has dropped a new single “Fight For You’ from the Judas and The Black Messiah soundtrack.
The movie is based on the events leading up to the shooting of the Black Panther Party member Fred Hampton in 1969. The song “Fight For You” has lyrics that were inspired by Hampton’s fight for racial and social justice.
In speaking about the song, H.E.R tweeted about Hampton, “His revolution inspired my inspiration.”
