In H.E.R & YG’s joint single “Slide,” the video pays homage to the West Coast.
They’re both from California so it’s nice they did something dope for their city! H.E.R is from Vallejo and YG is from Compton.
During an interview with Complex, H.E.R said that she was proud to represent her roots. “I’ve always wanted to ghost ride the whip and it’s the perfect song to get hyphy! Shout out to the best side and YG!”
