Our favorite movie character Tony Montana is coming back to the big screen. The script is being created by Joel and Ethan Coen but according to Variety, “Antoine Fuqua left the project as director, but sources reveal that the studio is very close to landing a new helmer. Diego Luna, who starred in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” is attached to reprise the role made famous by Al Pacino in Brian De Palma’s classic.”
This version of the film is set to be released August 10, 2018.
The iconic film starring Tony Montana was released in 1983. It was a reboot of the 1932 film.
