Lil Pump had released the video for “Butterfly Doors”. The song caused a bit of a controversy back in December when the rapper made some racial slurs and gestures in a snippet that appeared on Instagram.
A lot of Asian rappers and actors called Pump out about those lyrics and gestures. Since being called out, Pump has issued an apology to the Asian community as well as took the post off of Instagram. The finished song also censored the Yao Ming and “ching chong” comment.
