It’s new music Friday!
The new movement/generation of artists are dropping projects like crazy, letting the industry know they’re here to stay.
Brooklyn’s own, Young Devyn, released her highly anticipated debut EP, called Baby Goat. It’s an 8-track project, “Straight To It,” produced by our own DJ Drewski. The EP overall showcases her lyricism and diversity, plus she did it without any features. Young Devyn spoke with our girl TT Torrez earlier this year about the project, and now it’s finally here. Take a listen:
Rising star Lil Haiti released his debut EP, The Big Zoe. Hot 97 Who’s Next had the opportunity to go to his listening party, and Lil Haiti is someone to keep your eye on because he’s making noise. Brooklyn’s own Flipp Dinero co-signs him, and he’s featured on the project on the song “Where The Cap At.” Check out a recap of the event, by Alfonso Blue Films + listen to the entire project:

Brooklyn’s new female artist, Reyna Von Chase , dropped a short film freestyle called “Threesome? No Problem.” She pays homage to classic beats on the track from Lil Kim’s “Jump Off” ft. Mr. Cheeks, “I Just Wanna Love U” by JayZ, and “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See” by Busta Rhymes. She arrived on the music scene as a singer, dropping covers to Mooski’s “Trackstar” and Yung Bleu’s “Your Mines Still,” and now she’s proving her pen game. Listen:
Goldlink returns with a new album after two years. His latest EP is Haram! It’s a follow-up to his 2019 release of Diaspora. He announced he was dropping a new project earlier in June. It has 15-tracks and features from Flo Milli, Rich The Kid, Pressa, NLE Choppa, and more. Take a listen:
MaliibuMiitch blessed fans with three new teaser freestyles. The Bronx lit mami paid homage to the QUEEN, Nicki Minaj. Malli’s “No Filter” freestyle is sampled off Nicki’s re-released Beam Me Up Scotty, with the new additions, “Seeing Green,” “Fractions,” and “Crocodile Teeth.” Check it out:
