Rapsody just dropped her highly anticipated album ‘Eve’ and the video for her single ‘Nina’. The song samples Nina Simone’s version of Billie Holiday’s ‘Strange Fruit’, and is accompanied by Rapsody’s empowering bars and punchlines.
The video takes place with Rapsody walking on the beach at sunset while wearing a white dress. She is also seen rapping her bars while at a photoshoot with split-screen representations. The video also channels a haunting anthem of black history and surviving it. Watch the video below.
