Teyana Taylor has released a powerful video for her single “Still”.
The video, directed by her alter ego Spike Tey, shows footage of acts of police brutality, against Rodney King, George Floyd Eric Gardner, and more. Taylor also features tributes to other victims of police brutality such as Breonna Taylor, Elijah McClain, Malcolm X, and Huey P. Newton.
Although, the video sends a powerful message and is a constant reminder that black lives matter, social media had some mixed reviews about it.
Why would Teyana Taylor use footage of Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, and George Floyd's murders for her new video? That is so careless.

I saw part of the video. I had to stop when she dressed up like Breonna. *sigh* I…these ppl who were murdered by police or white supremacists are ppl. They are not public property and it's not fair to use their image like this. They didnt ask for all of this macabre
