D4vd’s name is tied to a disturbing case in Los Angeles after human remains were discovered inside his Tesla earlier this month. Authorities have now confirmed that the body is that of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, a teenager who had vanished from Lake Elsinore, California, in April 2024. The vehicle was abandoned in the Hollywood Hills and later taken to an impound lot, where investigators uncovered body parts inside.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner officially identified the victim, bringing an end to months of questions for her family. Celeste’s mother told TMZ she feared her daughter was the one found because the description from police mentioned a tattoo on the index finger that read “Shhh…” in red ink. Celeste had the same tattoo, which had become popular years ago after Rihanna revealed hers in 2008.

Detectives revealed that Celeste was wearing black leggings, a tube top, and a few accessories, including a stud earring and a bracelet shaped like the letter W. Her mother also noted that her daughter had a boyfriend named David, which immediately raised questions for her once the Tesla was linked to D4vd.

Photos suggest that D4vd did not have the “Shhh…” tattoo until the fall of 2024. Earlier pictures from spring and summer of that year show no sign of it, while by September, he appeared with the ink on his right index finger. Police have not made any public connection between his tattoo and Celeste’s.

The Tesla carried Texas plates and had not been listed as stolen. Officials have yet to determine who last operated the car before it was abandoned on September 8th. D4vd has been touring and, according to sources, is cooperating with the investigation. His team has declined further comment, pointing to the ongoing case.
