50 Cent is standing firmly behind Tyler Perry following explosive allegations made against the media mogul. Perry is facing a $260M lawsuit filed by Derek Dixon, a former actor on his TV shows, who accuses him of “escalating sexual harassment, assault and battery, and professional retaliation” after allegedly rejecting Perry’s advances.
Perry, through his attorney, dismissed the lawsuit as a blatant scam. “This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry for what now appears to be nothing more than setting up a scam. But Tyler will not be shaken down and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail,” his legal team stated.
50 Cent, never one to hold back, responded to the claims with strong words on Instagram. “Did that b!tch just say what I think he said? Nah we ain’t jacking this shit gang! No Way.” In a separate post featuring a photo of Katt Williams, 50 added, “Tyler that case bullshit don’t worry about that, worry about this [ninja emoji] here! He gonna have a field day with this shit.” He also previously joked, “Hey I think anyone who talks bad about Tyler Perry should die. I mean we are all gonna die, but you should die now!”
Despite the controversy, 50 is looking ahead, hinting at a major project with Perry. “BIG collaboration coming soon sprinkle a little Tyler, sprinkle a little 50 and 💣💨 you can’t beat it! HISTORY IN THE MAKING,” he teased.
He also shared a clip of Perry giving him props: “I’m so proud of that man. He’s amazing and he’s blowing it up out of the water.” When asked about working together, Perry said, “If he wants to. I love that dude.”
