Paul Pierce was partying like a rockstar on Instagram live.
Unfortunately, his wild antics seemingly got him fired from ESPN.
Paul, the former Celtics legend, hopped on IG live last Friday (April 2) and had an interesting situation going on. He played poker with friends while exotic dancers and weed smoke filled the room, covid-19 rules, not in place.
Front Office Sports was the first to report ESPN ended their working relationship with Paul. An official reason wasn’t given, but news of him getting fired made headlines right after posting the racy video. CNN notes ESPN declined to comment on Paul leaving. Representatives for Pierce also didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
Paul reacted to the news via social and said even when he’s “losing,” he’s “winning.” He seems unbothered.
I can’t lose even when I lose I’m winning 🤔🤔😳😃😃😃

Paul played in the NBA from 1998-2017, and the majority of the time, he was on the Celtics. He won a championship with them in 2008. He also played on the Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, and Los Angeles Clippers. After he retired, he was an ESPN analyst for multiple shows like “The Jump” and “NBA Countdown.”
