50 Cent is proving the be a hot commodity in Hollywood.

The rapper turned film mogul has eight shows on the way. A few weeks ago we reported Fif inked a deal with Netflix. Details haven’t been announced as of yet, but 50 gave more insight during a recent interview with Haute Living

50 will have a brand new show on Netflix but didn’t talk further about it. In total, he has eight shows in the works. Fif is coming out with an animated series called Trill League, and it’ll air on Quibi. He also has a scripted docu-series that will highlight pivotal moments in pop culture, called, A Moment In Time. In addition, he has “multiple projects” that haven’t been announced yet, reported in the article.

For Life on ABC was renewed for a second season. The show is based on a true story about the life of a black man named Issac Wright, who was imprisoned but became a lawyer behind bars and fought for his inmate’s freedom, as well as his own. Ultimately, Wright tries to prove his innocence as he was wrongfully convicted. 50 Cent executive produces the show and also plays the character of Big Cassius, a jail bully who has a lot of control, even though he’s behind bars.

Earlier this year 50 Cent got the green light from Starz to release the drama, The Black Family Mafia, another story based on true events. BMF tells the tale of two brothers, “Big Meech” and “Southwest T” who came from the troubling streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s. The Black Mafia Family is considered to be one of the most influential crime families who chased the American Dream however, things happened along the way that disrupted their brotherhood. The film is produced by G Unit Film and Television in association with Stars and Lion Gate. Terri Koop and Anthony Wilson will executive produce.

Power Book II: Ghost, a spin-off from Power about Ghost will debut on Starz on Sept. 6. Mary J. Blige and Cliff “Method Man” Smith will be on the show. During the interview, 50 confirmed he will be producing the theme songs for all shows himself. He said, “Making sure the theme songs are musically good is important to me.”

Power’s [“Big Rich Town”] was one of the best theme songs I’ve ever heard. Of course, I didn’t get nominated for it, but it sold a million copies. Show me another theme song that people actually want to buy. My career has been that way. [There’s a discrepancy between my] achievements and the accolades connected to them. I got to achieve what I wanted to achieve, but I didn’t get the trophies to go with it, and they’re not giving me trophies because then kids would actually want to be 50 Cent.”

Fif went on to talk about his new company Sire Spirits, which is home to his liquor ventures, Le Chemin du Roi (“The King’s Path”) champagne and Branson cognac, which is designed so his seven-year-old son Sire can take over when he’s old enough.

“I intend to keep that company for my son. I’ll be giving it to him when he’s old enough. You have to start thinking of these things in advance. I don’t know if I’ll always be around, so this information needs to be passed to him now.” Laughing, he adds: “He needs to know what’s going on from the very beginning and be all like, ‘I’ve been running this company since I was six!’”
