50 Cent joined in on the Young Thug four-hour interrogation, the current trending topic in hip hop. And once again, the mogul delivers another hilarious take in his latest Instagram post.
The post showed a man dancing to The Dramatics’ classic “In the Rain,” accompanied by a caption that read: “This how you gotta move in the streets now because these [ninjas] telling. BE CAREFUL NOW!”
Although 50 Cent refrained from naming anyone directly, the timing was striking. The message arrived only hours after interrogation footage of Young Thug surfaced online, sending ripples through rap communities and reigniting the ever-present debate about “snitching” in hip-hop culture.
The video, which showed Thug speaking with authorities, triggered rumors that he had struck a deal to secure his release. While no evidence has confirmed the speculation, the clip raised uncomfortable questions about loyalty, survival, and the boundaries of street code.
Young Thug swiftly denied the allegations on X, writing: “They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?”
His response underlined his rejection of any suggestion that he had betrayed his peers.
The controversy deepened after leaked jail calls appeared, in which Thug criticized fellow YSL member Gunna for acknowledging that YSL functioned as a “gang” during his plea deal. Thug argued the admission damaged the defense and bolstered prosecutors’ claims under RICO law.
“He gave the jurors the agreement that it’s a gang,” Thug said in the call. “That’s a lie. That’s RICO. You really just got a n**** life took.”
Gunna, who walked free in 2022 after entering an Alford Plea, has consistently rejected claims of cooperation. He emphasized that he never testified, never agreed to act as a witness, and has no plans to involve himself in Thug’s trial.
For 50 Cent, the moment reflected both his instinct for cultural commentary and his enduring reputation as one of hip-hop’s sharpest provocateurs. By speaking through implication, rather than direct accusation, he reminded the industry that the conversation around loyalty and survival remains as volatile as ever.
