Among those praising his athletic feat was YesJulz, who shared a clip of the moment on X (formerly Twitter), punctuated with celebratory emojis. Her post, however, quickly drew attention from online commenters revisiting unsubstantiated rumors of an affair with James. Responding to one insinuation, she wrote, “You really think I care about y’all’s baseless rumors? Bron is my favorite player, and I’ll always celebrate his wins!”
The rumors, which first emerged in 2014 during James’ tenure with the Miami Heat, shortly after his marriage to Savannah James, have persisted despite a lack of evidence. For YesJulz, the allegations have been a recurring source of frustration.
In a 2023 Instagram Live session, she candidly addressed the topic, acknowledging past relationships with individuals in James’ circle but vehemently denying any romantic involvement with the basketball icon.
“Did I date someone he knows? Yes. Did I ever have a relationship with LeBron? Absolutely not. I respect Savannah deeply and think she’s incredible. I’m tired of these baseless claims tarnishing my name,” she stated.
