A$AP Rocky defends his girlfriend Rihanna’s honor with a venomous verse directed at Drake on the Future and Metro Boomin track “Show Of Hands” from their new album, We Still Don’t Trust You.

Drake has insulted Rihanna in his songs for years but harshly mentioned Rocky on his latest album. On the track, the Harlem rap star gives Drake a history lesson about the women they’ve shared.

“Call up Pluto, Metro, should’ve put me on the first one,” raps Rocky. “N***as swear they bitch the baddest, I just bagged the worst one / N***as in they feelings over women, what, you hurt or somethin’? / I smash before you birthed, son, Flacko hit it first, son / Still don’ trust you, it’s always us, never them / Heard you dropped your latest sh*t / Funny how it just came and went (Ha-ha-ha).”

Rocky’s line refers to the 2017 situation involving Drake and his child’s mother, Sophie Brussaux. Brussaux was allegedly linked to various rappers and athletes, including Rocky, Iman Shumpert, and James Harden. Pusha T revealed Drake fathered a child with Brussaux in 2018 on the Daytona song “The Story Of Adidon.”

“A baby’s involved, it’s deeper than rap,” Pusha raps. “We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts / You are hiding a child, let that boy come home /

Deadbeat motherfucker, playin’ border patrol…”

Rocky closed the track, suggesting the beef can go deeper than rap. He ends with,”F**k keepin’ this shit hip hop / I wanna see a f**k n***a bleed out (N***a) / (I knew we couldn’t trust him).”

Although “Show Of Hands” clearly targets Drake, fans suspect Rocky also dissed him in January on Kid Cudi’s new album, Insano.

We Still Don’t Trust You features a star-studded cast that includes The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Lil Baby, and J. Cole. The previous album in the trilogy broke the Spotify record for most streams in a single day so far in 2024. It is available on all streaming platforms.

A$AP Rocky is working on a new album, Don’t Be Dumb, set for late 2024. In 2023, Rocky said the upcoming album is “best work yet.”
