Andrew Schulz finds himself in hot water again after he and Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., engage in an online debate over Kendrick Lamar. The war of words began after Jackson quoted an X user’s post of Andrew Schulz’s controversial rant about Kendrick Lamar, writing, “Weird Ass N*gga,” to which the comedian told him to “Google No Vaseline by Ice Cube.” Schulz references Ice Cube’s 1991 diss track following his breakup with NWA and manager Jerry Heller.

Throughout the song, Cube alleges that his former groupmates are victims of sodomy by the industry (as well as Heller). However, Jackson believes Andrew Schulz was drawing a false equivalency between the song and his remarks about Kendrick Lamar. Jackson believes Andrew Schulz’s constant infantilization and references to him sexually overpowering the rapper have roots in “buck breaking.”

“He didn’t even say your name, and your response was buck-breaking,” Jackson tells Andrew Schulz.

“Buck Breaking” was a form of sexual abuse Black, enslaved men endured often during slavery. “A metaphor about getting f*cked business-wise by your manager [isn’t] the same, homie,” the 33-year-old actor said. “He ain’t call you a b*tch. He ain’t say f*ck you. Didn’t even say your name. And your response was buck-breaking. Sh*t was just crazy.” The Den Of Thieves star is the latest person to defend Kendrick Lamar against Andrew Schulz.

Meek Mill recently shared his thoughts about the situation and accused the comedian of emasculating Kendrick Lamar. On Thursday (Dec.5), Meek hopped on X, writing, “White man saying they’ll rape black men openly is extreme.” In Meek Mill’s opinion, Black masculinity is nothing to joke about. “Black manhood [is] not a joke! I [have] seen the same guy saying I was gay on his stand-up!” He added: “My white friends like it’s a joke! We don’t joke like that in the black community at all!!”
